I didn't know there was a law. Many hotels are becoming all non smoking too which sux for the tokers lol. You can't smoke in gov't buildings/police/fire stations, or at schools (elem-high schools). Houston has passed an ordinance banning smoking in most restaurants and bars with the exception of smoking bars. I was shocked. There is no smoking in any of the restaurants around here, and I know at the hospital you have to stay so many feet away from the doors to be able to smoke. That's it as far as I know. In some specific cities there are bans on smoking inside public places though.
